Top Reasons We Love Our Corvettes
Corvettes and love seem to go hand in hand. People love their cars. This is especially true when the car is a Chevrolet Corvette. According to a Consumer Reports survey, approximately 95 percent of Chevrolet Corvette Stingray owners love their cars so much that they would purchase another one if given the opportunity. The Chevy Corvette has been loved by people for seven generations, and according to looks, generations to come will enjoy this car. There are numerous cars (some owners take theirs to this Tacoma auto repair shop) out there that people like, but there are very few cars that people love. I have personally seen and experienced the joys that a Corvette can give their owners. What inspires this dedication and love? I have decided to do some research to find out.
Top Five Reasons Why ‘Vettes are Loved
This movie was released back in 1978 and starred Mark Hamill. Corvette Summer was a film about how a 1973 Corvette was rescued from a junkyard. This movie is still enjoyed by young and old alike. I mean, who wouldn’t want to see a younger version of a Jedi?
Corvettes are Fast!
If you have the urge to go fast, and I do mean really fast, the 2014 Stingray is the perfect choice for you. Its 6.2-liter engine produces 450 horsepower, allowing the Corvette to go from 0 to 60 in less than 3.8 seconds. This powerhouse also can reach speeds of 195 miles per hour.
Corvettes are Romantic
A corvette is a two-seater sports car. Imagine taking that special someone out for a romantic drive along the coast in California. Talk about a romantic kind of drive! As you are traveling along the coast, stop by and enjoy a delicious bowl of clam chowder served in a bread bowl at Half Moon Bay. This delightful dish will warm you up and make enjoying a star filled night with the top down even better.
Corvettes are Equal Opportunity Cars
Generally, men are more drawn to sports cars than women are. This is not the case when it comes to Corvettes. Both men and women alike love the look of this amazing sports car. If you see a Corvette speeding down the freeway, there is a good chance that a woman may be behind the wheel.
Your Kids Will Want Your Car
Because of the Corvette’s timeless look and amazing engine, it can last for years, which will allow you to pass your Corvette down to your children. Rest assured that they will love this car as much as you do. Your child may not dream of owning your minivan, but you can be certain that they will dream of owning your Corvette!
